We are so proud of our small staff and nearly 200 volunteers as they care for hundreds of animals during COVID-19 and the hottest, busiest time of the year. So far, Tucson Wildlife Center has rescued close to 4,800 wild animals, far surpassing last year’s total of 4,060 for the entire year. We could not have rescued this record-breaking number of animals without our hardworking, dedicated team.
Thank you, Arizona Daily Star, for this feature about the effects of the Bighorn Fire on wildlife and our hardworking staff, a small reminder of what is happening now throughout the West.
Mark your calendars for the 8th Annual Leaps for Lives (Virtual) Dance Showcase at 6:00 pm on October 24th benefiting Tucson Wildlife Center!
Since this year’s Leaps for Lives Dance Showcase will not take place as the exciting in-person event they look forward to each year, they are hosting an engaging virtual performance instead.
Tickets are a suggested donation of $5, with funds benefiting Tucson Wildlife Center’s mission to rescue sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife.
