Patient of the Week: Arizona Grey Squirrel

This cute Arizona Grey Squirrel came to Tucson Wildlife Center down from Ramsey Canyon in Hereford, AZ. This patient was presented to TWC as cold, dehydrated, and orphaned.  After being treated for suspected hypothermia, this young squirrel has made quite the turnaround!  It is displaying the ability to self-feed and is becoming more bright and alert every day. There is still a long road ahead for this little one.  But we have faith that progress will continue.  And once fully healthy and old enough, this patient can be released back to the wild.
