Patient of the Week: 01/03/25

Happy New Year!

What better way to start the new year than with a warm greeting from Tucson Wildlife Center’s resident Gambel’s Quail, Jasper and Joshua (sound on for video). These quail were imprinted by humans before being brought to the Center, making them non-releasable. As a result, they have been resident sanctuary birds at TWC for several years.

To keep our sanctuary animals happy and healthy, we regularly update their enclosures with new features to spark curiosity and encourage natural behaviors. This week, Jasper and Joshua are enjoying a mirror for self-exploration, a pumpkin filled with seeds to mimic foraging, and fresh branches for climbing and perching.

We are deeply grateful for your support over the past year in helping us care for local wildlife, and we look forward to what we can achieve together in 2025. Here’s to a year filled with compassion, care, and thriving wildlife!
