During this monsoon season, the Tucson area has been highlighted with all kinds of green, whether it be the beautiful and sprawling vegetation or the eye-popping reptiles and amphibians that come out to enjoy this weather. This Sonoran Desert Toad was doing just that when it had an encounter with an unknown predator that resulted in soft tissue wounds for the toad. In rehab, this patient has been healing well and is feisty to get back to the wild which is always a good sign. Hopefully this behavior continues and this toad can get back to enjoying the amazing weather.
